Job Summary


Swiggy is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Remote Online Help Chat Executive to join our virtual support team. In this role, you will assist customers through real-time chat, ensuring quick resolutions, clear communication, and a positive experience with Swiggy’s platform and services. This is a remote position designed for individuals who excel at multitasking, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional digital customer care.


Key Responsibilities



  • Respond to customer inquiries through live chat in a timely, professional, and empathetic manner.

  • Provide accurate information regarding orders, payments, refunds, delivery status, and Swiggy policies.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to the app, website, and customer accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal support teams to escalate unresolved cases when required.

  • Record customer interactions and maintain proper documentation for quality and compliance.

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly service metrics, including response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores.

  • Maintain a customer-first approach and uphold Swiggy’s service excellence standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and clarity.

  • Ability to multitask across chat platforms and internal systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.

  • Basic technical knowledge for navigating apps, dashboards, and support tools.

  • Customer-centric mindset with patience, empathy, and professionalism.

  • Typing speed of at least 35–45 WPM is preferred.


Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in customer service, chat support, or call-center roles (Freshers are welcome).

  • Experience in the food delivery or e-commerce sector is a plus.


Working Hours



  • Full-time remote position with flexible shift options.

  • Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, depending on business needs.

  • 8–9 hours per shift with scheduled breaks.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and digital communication etiquette.

  • Ability to handle high-volume chats while maintaining accuracy and quality.

  • Knowledge of CRM tools, chat applications, and support software (training provided).

  • Ability to stay calm and composed during challenging interactions.

  • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to frequent updates and process changes.
