Key Responsibilities



  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and empathetic manner.

  • Provide accurate information regarding health plans, benefits, claims, enrollment, and related services.

  • Assist members in navigating online portals and resolving account issues.

  • Process and document customer interactions following company policies and compliance standards.

  • Identify customer needs and escalate complex cases to the appropriate departments when necessary.

  • Maintain performance metrics—including call quality, response time, and customer satisfaction.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and active listening abilities.

  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, CRM software, and online tools.

Experience



  • Entry-level applicants are welcome—training will be provided.

  • Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or healthcare support is a plus.


Working Hours



  • Flexible remote schedule; typical shifts range between 30–40 hours per week.

  • May include occasional evening or weekend coverage based on business needs.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Understanding of healthcare terminology is an advantage but not required.

  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle challenging conversations respectfully.

  • Willingness to learn continuously and adapt to system/process updates.
