Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.


• Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies to support new product development.


• Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.


• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to optimize designs for production and performance.


• Perform root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for design-related issues.


• Conduct prototype testing and validation of mechanical systems.


• Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.


• Continuously evaluate existing designs for improvement and cost-reduction opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.


• Strong proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Ansys, etc.).


• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.


• Excellent understanding of tolerances, GD&T, and engineering documentation.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.


• Outstanding communication and technical writing skills.

Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design or product development.


• Experience in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, aerospace, or consumer products is an advantage.


• Proven track record of delivering high-quality mechanical solutions.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.


• Standard working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday).


• Flexible working arrangements may be available depending on project requirements.
