Scalesforth is seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Freelance Data Entry Operator to support our growing digital operations. This fully remote role is ideal for individuals who excel at accurate typing, organizing information, and maintaining data integrity across various digital platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and verify data across spreadsheets, databases, and internal systems.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of all data entries by conducting regular quality checks.
- Organize and categorize information for easy retrieval and reporting.
- Manage confidential information responsibly while adhering to data protection guidelines.
- Review documents for errors and correct inconsistencies before submission.
- Complete assigned tasks within deadlines and communicate progress proactively.
- Collaborate with supervisors or team leads when clarification or additional instructions are needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy and a minimum average of 35–45 WPM.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify errors quickly.
- Good written communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding of data organization and digital file management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable computer system and stable internet connection.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles.
- Freshers with strong typing and computer skills are encouraged to apply.
- Prior freelance or remote work experience is a plus but not required.
