Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:



  • Review, edit, and proofread written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, punctuation, and overall quality.

  • Provide personalized coaching to writers to improve their writing skills and productivity.

  • Develop and implement writing improvement strategies tailored to individual writers’ needs.

  • Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all written materials.

  • Collaborate with content creators, team members, and management to meet project deadlines.

  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in writing, editing, and proofreading.

  • Offer constructive feedback and actionable suggestions to help writers achieve professional growth.

  • Support the development of training materials and writing guides for internal use.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, and punctuation.

  • Proven experience in proofreading, editing, or writing coaching.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with various writing styles (academic, creative, technical, business, etc.).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.

  • Proficiency in word processing software and editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Grammarly).




Experience:



  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing, editing, proofreading, or writing coaching.

  • Experience working with diverse writers or clients in different industries is highly desirable.

  • Prior experience in remote or virtual team environments is a plus.




Working Hours:



  • Flexible working hours with the option to work remotely.

  • Full-time or part-time arrangements can be discussed based on candidate availability.

  • Occasional participation in team meetings or client coaching sessions may be required.
