Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood, or a related field (Master’s preferred for specialized subjects).
- Valid teaching certification/license for K–12 education is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience teaching in a classroom or virtual setting.
- Strong proficiency in online teaching platforms, virtual classrooms, and digital collaboration tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across various age groups and learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills, time management, and adaptability in a remote work environment.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in K–12 education, either in-person or online.
- Experience with curriculum development and differentiated instruction is an advantage.
- Previous remote teaching or online tutoring experience is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
- Flexible remote schedule with core teaching hours depending on student grade level and time zones.
- Full-time and part-time positions available, typically requiring 20–40 hours per week.
- Occasional evening or weekend sessions may be required to accommodate student schedules.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of K–12 curriculum and academic standards.
- Ability to implement innovative instructional strategies to engage online learners.
- Proficiency with digital learning tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, LMS platforms).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and patience when addressing student challenges.
