Job Summary
The Elite Job is seeking dedicated and physically capable Baggage Handlers to join our team as part of our international recruitment program with visa sponsorship. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a stable and rewarding career in airport operations. As a Baggage Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring that passengers’ luggage and cargo are safely loaded, unloaded, and transported within airport premises while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Full training and relocation support will be provided for successful candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail onto and off aircraft safely and efficiently.
- Operate baggage handling systems, conveyor belts, and ground support equipment.
- Ensure correct baggage routing and prevent misplacement or damage to luggage.
- Sort and transport baggage to designated airport areas or terminals.
- Handle fragile, oversized, and special items with care according to safety procedures.
- Adhere to airport security and health & safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with flight operations, ground staff, and airline teams for timely aircraft turnaround.
- Report lost, damaged, or unclaimed luggage to supervisors.
- Perform regular checks and cleaning of work areas and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 30–50 kg repeatedly.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of English (reading, speaking, and writing).
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid passport and eligibility for visa sponsorship.
Experience
- Previous experience in baggage handling, logistics, warehouse work, or a physically demanding role is advantageous but not required.
- On-the-job training will be provided for all new hires.
Working Hours
- Full-time position (40–48 hours per week).
- Shift-based schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Overtime opportunities available based on operational demand.
