Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented Global Data Quality Auditor to join our remote analytics and compliance team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of global datasets across multiple business systems. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies while ensuring adherence to quality standards and compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of datasets across multiple platforms and regions to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Develop and implement data quality assurance procedures, validation frameworks, and audit checklists.
- Identify errors, anomalies, and patterns of inconsistency, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with data management, analytics, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance data quality controls.
- Prepare detailed reports and dashboards summarizing audit findings, performance metrics, and recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize data collection and governance processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data auditing tools, software, and methodologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing and managing large datasets.
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of data governance principles, data validation frameworks, and quality assurance standards.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in data auditing, data management, or data analytics roles.
- Prior experience in multinational or consultancy environments preferred.
- Familiarity with global data privacy regulations and quality control systems will be an advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-time, remote position with flexible scheduling.
- Core collaboration hours are between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (GMT) to accommodate international communication.
