Job Summary
Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Verification Clerk to join our expanding virtual operations team. This role is ideal for professionals who excel at ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple platforms. The selected candidate will be responsible for validating, reviewing, and updating digital records while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and precision. Working remotely, you will collaborate with internal departments to ensure that all information processed meets company and client compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency within the company’s database systems.
- Compare source documents with entered data to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
- Update, correct, and maintain electronic records in accordance with internal procedures.
- Conduct quality checks on processed data to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Communicate with internal teams to clarify data discrepancies or missing information.
- Prepare and submit verification reports to supervisors on a scheduled basis.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times.
- Assist in the improvement of data verification procedures and documentation standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws and best practices for handling sensitive information.
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in data entry, verification, or administrative support roles.
- Prior experience in remote or digital office environments will be considered an asset.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with the ability to manage workload effectively.
- Standard schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility based on project requirements).
- Remote position with reliable internet connectivity required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks with precision and meet deadlines consistently.
- High degree of integrity when managing confidential or sensitive information.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is an advantage.
