Job Summary:
World Vision, a global humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the lives of children, families, and communities, is seeking a highly motivated NGO Program Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring development programs to ensure they achieve intended outcomes. This role requires strategic thinking, effective collaboration with local stakeholders, and a strong commitment to community development and social impact.
The Program Coordinator will serve as a bridge between field teams, partner organizations, and World Vision leadership, ensuring that programs align with organizational goals, donor requirements, and community needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and monitor NGO programs and projects to achieve organizational objectives.
- Develop program strategies, work plans, and budgets in alignment with World Vision’s mission and donor requirements.
- Coordinate with local communities, government agencies, and partner organizations to ensure effective program delivery.
- Monitor program performance, collect data, and prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct needs assessments and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate training and capacity-building sessions for staff, volunteers, and community members.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and legal requirements.
- Represent World Vision in meetings, workshops, and forums related to program activities.
- Identify potential funding opportunities and support proposal development for new initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in program coordination, project management, or NGO operations.
- Strong understanding of community development principles and humanitarian programs.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in project monitoring and evaluation tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with donor reporting standards and compliance requirements.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in NGO program management, development projects, or social impact initiatives.
- Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
- Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.
- Flexibility may be required for community visits, fieldwork, or urgent project requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse environments.
- Knowledge of project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports, proposals, and presentations.
