Key Responsibilities
Assist biomedical engineers in designing, testing, and evaluating medical equipment and systems.
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of biomedical devices.
Collect and analyze performance data to ensure equipment functionality and safety compliance.
Support documentation processes including technical reports, testing results, and user manuals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D.
Assist in developing prototypes and implementing engineering modifications as needed.
Provide technical assistance to healthcare professionals and internal departments.
Stay updated with emerging biomedical technologies and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing) in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of biomedical devices, mechanical systems, and electronics.
Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 60601) is preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software, MATLAB, or similar engineering tools.
Excellent documentation, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in a biomedical engineering, healthcare technology, or related environment.
Internship or academic project experience in medical device development will be an added advantage.
Working Hours
Standard working schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Flexibility may be required based on project timelines and testing schedules.
