Job Summary

3M is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Intern – Manufacturing to join our dynamic production and quality team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control systems and procedures.


• Perform routine product inspections and process audits to ensure compliance with 3M’s quality standards.


• Collect, analyze, and interpret production and quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


• Support in maintaining documentation related to quality assurance, including reports, corrective actions, and test results.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality-related issues.


• Participate in root cause analysis and assist in developing preventive measures for recurring issues.


• Ensure adherence to ISO and regulatory standards in all quality processes.


• Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management reviews and quality meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (ongoing or completed) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.


• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management principles.


• Basic knowledge of quality tools such as Six Sigma, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.


• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.


• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Good communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior internship or academic project experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment will be an advantage.


• Fresh graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

• Full-time internship (Monday to Friday).


• Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.


• Flexibility may be required based on project needs or production schedules.
