Job Summary


Schneider Electric is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer – Entry Level to join our engineering and innovation team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are enthusiastic about designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems that support sustainable energy solutions. You will collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design electrical components, improve energy efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.




Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems and components for industrial and commercial applications.

  • Develop detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and layout plans using CAD software.

  • Support product development teams with prototype building, validation, and performance testing.

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies to enhance design efficiency and sustainability.

  • Participate in electrical load calculations, circuit design, and fault analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices (IEC, NEC, etc.).

  • Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other technical teams to deliver projects on schedule.

  • Provide technical documentation, reports, and support during project reviews and audits.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during development and implementation phases.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, circuit design, and power systems.

  • Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software.

  • Basic knowledge of PLCs, drives, and control systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.




Experience



  • 0–2 years of experience in electrical design or related fields.

  • Internship or academic project experience in energy systems, electrical circuits, or automation will be an advantage.




Working Hours



  • Full-time position (40 hours per week).

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

  • Flexible working options and occasional remote work available.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Knowledge of renewable energy concepts, smart grids, and sustainable power solutions.

  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and engineering documentation tools.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.

  • Capability to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
