UPS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Business Analyst to join our logistics domain team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, analyzing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for logistics and supply chain projects.
Conduct thorough analysis of operational processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
Translate business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and reports for technical teams.
Perform data analysis and generate actionable insights using tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI platforms.
Support project management teams in tracking progress, risk assessment, and milestone reporting.
Assist in the development of dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to monitor logistics operations.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure deliverables meet business requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert on logistics processes, providing guidance and recommendations to leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or supply chain domain.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Experience in documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.
Familiarity with ERP, TMS, or WMS systems is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in business analysis or a related role, preferably within logistics or supply chain management.
Hands-on experience in analyzing logistics operations, performance metrics, and process improvement initiatives.
Working Hours
Full-time remote position.
Flexible working hours within standard business schedules; occasional meetings may require coordination across time zones.
