Job Summary
Medium is seeking a highly skilled and creative Freelance Technical Blog Writer to join our team of passionate content creators. Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all content is accurate, well-structured, and aligns with Medium’s editorial standards and style guidelines.
- Optimize content for readability, SEO, and engagement while maintaining technical accuracy.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the tech industry to produce timely and relevant content.
- Revise and incorporate feedback from editors and stakeholders efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in technical writing, blogging, or content creation within the technology domain.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization strategies.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), Google Docs, and collaborative writing tools.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in technical writing, software documentation, or tech-focused blogging.
