Job Summary:


Zoom is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Remote Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, responsible for generating and qualifying leads, building strong relationships, and driving new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities:



  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media, and networking.

  • Conduct thorough research to understand prospects’ business needs and pain points.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers and key decision-makers.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategic approaches for target accounts.

  • Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives.

  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in CRM systems.

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation and conversion targets.

  • Stay up-to-date on Zoom products, services, industry trends, and competitors.

  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and virtual events as required.




Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects effectively.

  • Comfortable using CRM software, sales engagement tools, and other digital platforms.

  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and technologies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.




Experience:



  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or inside sales roles.

  • Experience in SaaS, technology, or related industries is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.




Working Hours:



  • Full-time remote position.

  • Standard working hours with flexibility depending on time zones and business needs.

  • Occasional participation in virtual meetings or training outside standard hours may be required.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to research and understand customer business needs quickly.

  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.

  • Comfortable handling rejection and maintaining resilience in a sales environment.

  • High level of proficiency with technology tools, including video conferencing platforms, CRM, and productivity tools.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track and measure performance metrics.
