Job Summary
Tableau is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst (Remote) to join our growing analytics team. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, operations, sales) to understand their data needs and deliver analytical solutions.
- Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management through visual storytelling.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple data sources.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure business performance.
- Stay updated with the latest BI technologies, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for dashboard design and data visualization.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data from various databases.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, Python, or R is a plus.
Experience
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related role.
- Experience in a remote or cross-functional team environment is preferred.
- Prior experience in developing enterprise-level Tableau dashboards will be an advantage.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote working schedule based on project deadlines and collaboration requirements.
- Core availability expected during standard business hours (Monday–Friday).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of data visualization principles and BI best practices.
- Ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
