Job Summary


Ahrefs, a globally recognized leader in SEO tools and digital marketing analytics, is seeking a highly motivated Remote SEO Executive to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of SEO best practices, data-driven decision-making, and a passion for content performance analysis.




Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and improve SERP rankings.

  • Conduct detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page/off-page optimization.

  • Audit websites regularly to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.

  • Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to optimize web pages, blogs, and landing pages for SEO.

  • Monitor performance metrics such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and conversions using tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.

  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

  • Perform backlink analysis and build high-quality link-building strategies.

  • Create periodic SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights for improvement.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in SEO strategy development and execution.

  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.

  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.




Experience



  • Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience in SEO or digital marketing roles.

  • Demonstrated success in improving organic rankings and traffic through ethical SEO practices.

  • Experience working with international websites and multilingual SEO is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Fully remote position with flexible working hours.

  • Must be available for virtual meetings and collaboration during core business hours (as per company timezone).




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • In-depth knowledge of SEO trends, algorithms, and ranking factors.

  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS).

  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
