Job Summary
Figma is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content Designer to join our dynamic remote team. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain clear, concise, and consistent copy for UI, onboarding flows, product notifications, error messages, and help content.
- Collaborate with product teams to translate complex concepts into user-friendly language.
- Conduct user research and testing to understand how content impacts user experience and iterate accordingly.
- Advocate for content strategy across the organization, ensuring messaging aligns with Figma’s brand voice.
- Create and maintain content guidelines and documentation for internal teams.
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistency across all platforms and channels.
- Continuously analyze and improve content performance using data and user feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or similar role in a digital product environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to craft content that is clear, concise, and aligns with the user’s context.
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and product development cycles.
- Experience with content management systems and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Notion).
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in content design, UX writing, or related fields for digital products.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is a plus.
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of content design projects and problem-solving approaches.
Working Hours
- This is a fully remote position with flexible hours.
- Candidates must be able to collaborate across time zones as needed.
- Occasional meetings may be required during core hours aligned with team schedules.

- Strong understanding of user-centered design and how content shapes user experience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and optimize content based on data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
