As a Cloud Support Engineer at AWS, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing world-class technical support and guidance to AWS customers. Key Responsibilities
Provide timely and effective technical support for AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues reported by customers.
Guide customers through best practices for deploying, configuring, and managing AWS solutions.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to escalate and resolve issues.
Contribute to knowledge base articles, documentation, and internal tools to improve support efficiency.
Monitor and proactively address potential system and performance issues.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures for recurring issues.
Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix or Windows operating systems.
Experience with networking protocols, DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP, and VPNs.
Ability to troubleshoot storage, database, and application issues in a cloud environment.
Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical customers.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in cloud support, IT operations, or system administration.
AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are highly desirable.
Working Hours
Full-time position; flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, or on-call rotations, based on customer requirements.
