This role involves guiding prospective students through their educational journey, providing tailored advice on course selection, program structure, and career pathways. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students interested in Kaplan’s online programs.
- Provide comprehensive guidance on program offerings, admission requirements, and learning outcomes.
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions, webinars, and informational calls to engage prospective learners.
- Assist students with the application process, enrollment procedures, and document submission.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to follow up on leads and convert inquiries into enrollments.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress in CRM systems.
- Monitor industry trends and student feedback to suggest improvements to programs and services.
- Uphold Kaplan’s standards for ethical counseling and student support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in student success.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools and online platforms (Zoom, Teams, CRM systems).
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries and maintain attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to provide solutions in a consultative manner.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in educational counseling, admissions, student support, or related roles.
- Experience in online education or e-learning environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in guiding students or clients toward informed decisions.
Working Hours
- Full-time, Monday to Friday.
- Flexibility required for occasional evening or weekend sessions to accommodate student availability.
- Remote/online work environment with access to digital platforms for student interactions.

- Deep understanding of higher education programs and career pathways.
- Ability to assess student needs and recommend appropriate courses.
- Skilled in relationship management and building trust with prospective students.
