Job Summary
Coursera is seeking a highly organized and proactive Learning & Development (L&D) Coordinator to join our global team. This fully remote role plays a pivotal part in supporting our corporate learning initiatives, ensuring the smooth execution of training programs, and enhancing the professional growth of our employees. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technologically savvy, and passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that empower teams and foster continuous development.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer all aspects of L&D programs, including onboarding, professional development, and leadership training.
- Maintain training schedules, track participation, and manage learning management system (LMS) data.
- Support the creation and rollout of learning content, including workshops, webinars, e-learning modules, and resource materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of L&D initiatives through feedback, assessments, and analytics.
- Assist in budgeting, vendor management, and logistical arrangements for learning events and programs.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, certifications, and regulatory requirements related to training programs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the learning experience and employee engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and virtual collaboration tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams).
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in learning and development, training coordination, or a related HR function.
- Experience managing training programs, workshops, or online learning initiatives is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time, remote position with flexible working hours aligned with Coursera’s global team operations.
- Ability to occasionally adjust working hours to accommodate cross-timezone collaboration.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset to interpret learning data and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and learning tools.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling employee information.
