Key Responsibilities
Translate written content from the source language to the target language while maintaining meaning, style, and tone.
Review and proofread translations for accuracy, grammar, syntax, and terminology consistency.
Collaborate with project managers and other linguists to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Adapt content to suit the cultural and linguistic context of the target audience.
Meet project deadlines while managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
Maintain confidentiality and data security of all client materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in at least one target language.
Excellent command of the source language.
Strong attention to detail with exceptional proofreading and editing skills.
Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., CAT tools like SDL Trados, MemoQ) is preferred.
Ability to research terminology and industry-specific language accurately.
Strong written communication skills in both source and target languages.
Experience
Previous experience as a translator, linguist, or language services provider is highly desirable.
Experience working with multinational clients, content localization, or specialized industries (e.g., legal, medical, technical) is a plus.
