Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and engage with multiple Reddit communities, ensuring vibrant, safe, and respectful interactions.
• Develop and implement community engagement strategies to increase participation, retention, and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Marketing, and Moderation to execute campaigns and initiatives that enhance community experiences.
• Identify and address community issues proactively, escalating concerns when necessary to maintain a positive environment.
• Analyze community metrics and feedback to provide actionable insights for improving engagement and content quality.
• Support and guide volunteer moderators, offering best practices and resources for effective community management.
• Create reports and presentations summarizing community health, trends, and strategic recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Media, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing online communities, preferably on social platforms like Reddit, Discord, or similar forums.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
• Deep understanding of online culture, social media trends, and digital engagement best practices.
• Conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to track, interpret, and report community metrics.
• Proficiency in community management tools, social listening software, and analytics platforms.

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in community management, social media management, or digital engagement roles.
• Experience with moderation policies, user engagement strategies, and fostering online communities.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving projects from concept to execution.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, typically 40 hours per week.
