Job Summary

Accenture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Software Tester – QA Trainee to join our global quality assurance team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals passionate about technology, software quality, and process improvement. As a QA Trainee, you will assist in testing applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring software meets the highest quality standards before release. Key Responsibilities

• Execute test cases manually or through automated testing tools under supervision.


• Identify, document, and track software defects using standard bug-tracking systems.


• Assist in the preparation of test plans, test scripts, and test data.


• Work closely with developers, project managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure software quality and functionality.


• Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).


• Support the creation of QA documentation and ensure compliance with Accenture’s quality standards.


• Provide timely feedback to the development team and assist in root-cause analysis of issues.


• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.


• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.


• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, or TestRail (preferred but not mandatory).


• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.


• Good understanding of manual testing concepts and defect reporting.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setup.

Experience

• 0 to 1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance (fresh graduates are welcome).


• Prior internship or academic project in QA/testing will be an advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote work schedule, typically 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.


• Occasional coordination with international teams may require overlapping hours.
