Key Responsibilities



  • Create, edit, and maintain technical documents, including user manuals, API documentation, product descriptions, whitepapers, and online help content.

  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and engaging language suitable for different audiences.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and subject matter experts to gather technical information and ensure accuracy.

  • Develop and manage content that aligns with IBM’s brand tone and technical standards.

  • Research emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to enhance the depth and quality of content.

  • Optimize content for readability, SEO, and accessibility across digital platforms.

  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure relevance with current product versions and releases.

  • Ensure consistency in terminology, structure, and style across all written materials.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Proficiency in creating content for technical audiences, particularly in the IT, software, or cloud computing domains.

  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, or Adobe FrameMaker.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, software development lifecycles, and cloud-based solutions.

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with digital publishing platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.




Experience



  • 1–3 years of professional experience in technical writing or content creation in a technology-focused environment.

  • Prior experience working with technical teams or within IT/Software companies is highly desirable.

  • Fresh graduates with exceptional writing skills and technical understanding are also encouraged to apply.




Working Hours



  • Flexible work-from-home schedule with a focus on productivity and timely delivery.

  • Core collaboration hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (IST or local time zone) depending on project requirements.

  • Occasional virtual meetings with international teams may require flexibility in availability.
