Key Responsibilities



  • Provide remote technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues related to Dell hardware, software, and peripherals.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems via phone, email, or chat in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and propose solutions.

  • Document all support activities, solutions, and best practices in internal knowledge bases.

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while handling multiple support requests simultaneously.

  • Provide guidance and training to customers on optimal product usage and configurations.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or specialized teams while ensuring timely follow-up.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems.

  • Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and diagnostic procedures.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Customer-focused mindset with patience and professionalism under pressure.




Experience



  • 2–4 years of experience in technical support, IT support, or a related field.

  • Experience with Dell products or enterprise IT environments is preferred.

  • Prior experience in a remote or virtual support environment is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Full-time position, flexible schedules available depending on business needs.

  • Must be able to work in rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.

  • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and CRM platforms.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with remote teams across geographies.
