Job Summary
Skooli is seeking enthusiastic and skilled English Language Tutors to join our remote learning platform. As a Remote Online Tutor, you will provide high-quality instruction to students of all ages and backgrounds, helping them develop strong reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. This role offers a flexible, work-from-home opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic growth while leveraging innovative online teaching tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group English lessons online.
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Utilize Skooli’s digital learning platform and resources effectively during sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student attendance, and performance.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Stay updated with the latest English teaching methodologies and online education trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is highly desirable.
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage students effectively and foster a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms, digital tools, and virtual classroom management.
Experience
- Minimum of 1–2 years of tutoring, teaching, or educational experience, preferably in English Language instruction.
- Experience in remote or online teaching is a plus.
Working Hours
- Flexible, part-time or full-time schedule.
- Availability to accommodate students in different time zones is advantageous.
- Typical sessions range from 30 minutes to 1 hour per lesson.
