Job Summary
Acusis, a global leader in healthcare transcription services, is looking for passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Medical Transcription Trainees (Work From Home). Key Responsibilities
- Listen to and accurately transcribe dictated medical reports, including clinical summaries, patient histories, discharge summaries, and other documentation.
- Review and edit transcriptions for grammar, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring all reports meet Acusis quality standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in handling patient information.
- Follow specific formatting and style guidelines as per client requirements.
- Submit completed work within assigned deadlines and participate in feedback sessions to improve accuracy.
- Collaborate with quality analysts and senior transcriptionists to resolve discrepancies or unclear dictations.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and transcription best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any discipline (life sciences background preferred).
- Excellent command of English language, grammar, and punctuation.
- Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology (training will be provided).
- Proficiency in computer operations and typing (minimum 35–45 words per minute preferred).
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in transcription, editing, or healthcare documentation will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
Working Hours
- Flexible work-from-home schedule with shifts aligned to client requirements (typically U.S. time zones).
- Full-time and part-time options available.
