Job Summary


Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, enabling informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, create visual dashboards, and provide data-driven recommendations that drive organizational growth and efficiency.




Key Responsibilities



  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and database structures to extract and analyze data.

  • Design, build, and manage interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights.

  • Identify data trends, anomalies, and opportunities to support strategic decision-making.

  • Perform data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Assist in creating data documentation, dashboards, and visualization guidelines.

  • Monitor and maintain performance of BI solutions and recommend improvements.

  • Stay updated with emerging analytics tools, technologies, and best practices.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, and optimization).

  • Expertise in Power BI (dashboard creation, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling).

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of Excel, Python, or R for advanced data analysis (preferred).




Experience



  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.

  • Proven track record of delivering impactful dashboards and data-driven insights.

  • Experience working in IT services, consulting, or analytics-driven environments is a plus.




Working Hours



  • Full-time role with flexible work timings, aligned with Capgemini’s operational hours.

  • Occasional collaboration with global teams may require overlap with international time zones.
