Accenture is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior QA Tester to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through systematic testing and collaboration with development teams. Key Responsibilities:
Execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects using QA tools and bug tracking systems.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and senior QA staff to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Assist in creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
Participate in review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Support the QA team in implementing best practices for software quality and process efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, QTest, or similar is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to document issues clearly.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing techniques.
Experience:
0–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance is preferred but not mandatory.
Internships or academic projects demonstrating testing experience will be considered an advantage.
Working Hours:
Full-time role with standard working hours (typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
Flexibility may be required to support global teams or project deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
Ability to work under supervision and independently as required.
Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology is advantageous.
