Job Summary:

Larsen & Toubro, a global leader in engineering, construction, and technology solutions, invites passionate and aspiring mechanical engineers to join its Engineering Apprenticeship Program. This program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to cutting-edge mechanical engineering projects, allowing apprentices to gain practical knowledge, enhance technical skills, and understand real-world industrial processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and components.
  • Support the engineering team in executing mechanical projects and solutions.
  • Conduct testing, analysis, and performance evaluations of mechanical equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates for ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.
  • Learn and adhere to industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices in engineering operations.
  • Participate in workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance technical expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of standard mechanical tools, machinery, and fabrication techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience:

  • Fresh graduates or students in the final year of their mechanical engineering program are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior internship or project experience in mechanical engineering will be considered advantageous but is not mandatory.

Working Hours:

  • Standard working hours as per L&T company policy.
  • Flexible schedules may be offered depending on project requirements.
  • Apprentices are expected to adhere to workplace safety and operational guidelines during all working hours.
