Key Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions.
Work on real projects involving Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products and services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to implement efficient and reliable cloud solutions.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews.
Support troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization of cloud systems.
Document workflows, architectures, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and propose innovative solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Go.
Basic knowledge of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, networking, and databases.
Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
Previous internship experience or academic projects involving software development or cloud computing is preferred but not required.
Experience with open-source projects or contributions to GitHub repositories is a plus.
Working Hours
Full-time internship with flexible working hours to accommodate academic schedules.
Duration: Typically 12–16 weeks (Summer or Winter internship programs).
