Job Summary


MotorTech Welding, a leading name in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities



  • Perform welding operations on automotive components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques according to established specifications.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding instructions to ensure accurate fabrication.

  • Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with safety standards.

  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.

  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily production targets.

  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions, defects, or production issues to the supervisor promptly.

  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency on the production floor.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proven welding skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper handling of welding equipment.

  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in standing or awkward positions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.




Experience



  • Minimum 2 years of professional welding experience, preferably in the automotive manufacturing or industrial production sector.

  • Experience with high-volume production lines and quality control procedures is a strong advantage.




Working Hours



  • Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may include occasional overtime based on production requirements).

  • Flexibility to work in rotating shifts or weekends as required by production demands.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Strong understanding of welding materials, metal types, and fabrication processes.

  • Ability to follow strict quality control and production standards.

  • Good communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.

  • High level of responsibility, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
