Job Summary
MotorTech Welding, a leading name in the automotive manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations on automotive components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques according to established specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding instructions to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet daily production targets.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, company procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, defects, or production issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency on the production floor.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven welding skills in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper handling of welding equipment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in standing or awkward positions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional welding experience, preferably in the automotive manufacturing or industrial production sector.
- Experience with high-volume production lines and quality control procedures is a strong advantage.
Working Hours
- Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (may include occasional overtime based on production requirements).
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts or weekends as required by production demands.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of welding materials, metal types, and fabrication processes.
- Ability to follow strict quality control and production standards.
- Good communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
