We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will specialize in welding stainless steel and other high-grade metals used in medical devices and equipment. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and adherence to strict industry standards to ensure the safety and reliability of medical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on medical-grade stainless steel, aluminum, and other specialized metals with precision and consistency.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications to produce components that meet exacting standards.
- Ensure weld quality and structural integrity through visual inspection and measurement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with safety regulations and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency.
- Document welding procedures, track production progress, and maintain records of completed work.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, preferably in medical equipment or precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency in welding stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Solid understanding of welding codes, standards, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision for high-quality welds.
- Familiarity with welding inspection tools and measurement instruments.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on TIG welding experience, preferably in a medical or high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience with cleanroom or controlled environment manufacturing is a plus.
Working Hours
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with standard production shifts.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep knowledge of welding metallurgy and techniques for medical-grade materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other medical device manufacturing standards is highly desirable.
