SkillsPro Welding is seeking a motivated Apprentice Welder to join our professional fabrication team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior welders in performing MIG, TIG, and arc welding operations.


• Prepare and set up materials, tools, and equipment for welding projects.


• Learn to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.


• Support fabrication and assembly processes in the workshop.


• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.


• Inspect welded joints for quality and compliance with standards.


• Participate in scheduled training sessions to improve technical knowledge and welding techniques.


• Handle materials and tools carefully to prevent damage or defects.


• Report to the Welding Supervisor or Training Coordinator for daily instructions and feedback.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or vocational training preferred).


• Basic understanding of welding tools and metalworking processes.


• Strong willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.


• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.


• Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical stamina.


• Basic mathematical and measurement skills.


• Must be safety-conscious and able to use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Experience

• No prior professional experience required.


• Previous exposure to a workshop or technical training program will be an advantage.


• Full training will be provided by SkillsPro Welding as part of the apprenticeship program.

Working Hours

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday).


• Standard working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.


• Overtime or weekend work may be required based on project deadlines and training schedules.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of metals, fabrication techniques, and workshop safety.


• Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.


• Eagerness to develop trade skills and progress into certified welder roles.


• Dependable, punctual, and willing to take initiative.


• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality workmanship.
