In this role, you will operate, program, and maintain robotic welding systems to produce high-quality metal components for various industrial applications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in automated welding processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment to produce precise welds according to technical specifications.
Set up, program, and adjust robotic welding machines for different jobs and production requirements.
Inspect and verify weld quality using visual inspection and measurement tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Perform routine maintenance on robotic systems, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting.
Collaborate with engineers and production supervisors to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate production records, including shift logs, welding parameters, and quality reports.
Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Identify and report mechanical issues, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in welding, robotics, or manufacturing preferred.
Proficiency in robotic welding systems (FANUC, ABB, or similar).
Strong understanding of welding techniques, metallurgy, and industry standards (MIG, TIG, or spot welding).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial welding environments.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience operating robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience with programming or troubleshooting robotic systems is highly preferred.
Previous exposure to lean manufacturing or production efficiency processes is a plus.
Working Hours
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed to meet production targets.
