TechAssist Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. As a part of TechAssist Solutions, you will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of IT systems, networks, and software applications, working alongside experienced IT professionals in a collaborative and dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support to clients and internal teams via email, chat, and phone.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and systems.
  • Monitor IT systems and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and recommend solutions.
  • Provide user guidance and training to help clients optimize technology usage.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, IT best practices, and company protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and common office applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote support interactions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with patience and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.

Experience

  • No prior professional IT support experience is required; this is an entry-level position.
  • Internship or academic projects in IT, networking, or computer science are a plus.

Working Hours

  • Full-time, flexible remote schedule.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend support as needed.
