Job Summary
RhythmHive Studios is seeking passionate and talented Freelance Dance Instructors to join our dynamic online teaching platform. As a Freelance Dance Instructor, you will inspire and engage students of all ages and skill levels through virtual dance classes, helping them achieve their goals while expressing creativity. This remote role offers the flexibility to teach from anywhere while being part of a supportive and innovative dance community.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live, interactive online dance classes for individuals and groups of various ages and skill levels.
- Develop customized lesson plans that meet students’ needs and skill levels.
- Provide constructive feedback and motivation to students to foster improvement and confidence.
- Demonstrate dance techniques clearly and accurately using online platforms.
- Maintain a professional and positive virtual teaching environment.
- Track student progress and communicate updates to students and, if applicable, their parents.
- Collaborate with the RhythmHive Studios team to improve class offerings and curriculum.
- Stay updated with the latest dance trends, styles, and online teaching methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more dance styles (e.g., ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, salsa, etc.).
- Prior experience teaching dance, either in-person or online.
- Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for online instruction.
- Ability to engage students virtually and maintain their interest and motivation.
- Comfortable using video conferencing platforms and online teaching tools.
- Creative, energetic, and adaptable teaching approach.
- Certification in dance or performing arts is a plus, but not mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in dance (freelance or institutional).
- Experience conducting online classes is highly preferred.
Working Hours
- Flexible scheduling based on instructor availability and student demand.
- Classes may be scheduled during mornings, afternoons, or evenings to accommodate global students.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong understanding of dance techniques, rhythm, and choreography.
- Ability to inspire and encourage students to achieve their personal best.
- Skilled at adapting lessons for different skill levels and learning styles.
- Technologically proficient for managing online sessions, including troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage class schedules and student progress.
