Job Summary


FabricArt Studios is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Textile Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team on a part-time remote basis. In this role, you will conceptualize and develop innovative textile patterns and designs for a variety of fabrics, ensuring our products remain fresh, unique, and aligned with current market trends. The ideal candidate combines a strong artistic vision with practical design skills and a deep understanding of textile production processes.




Key Responsibilities



  • Create original textile patterns and graphic designs for fabrics, clothing, and home décor products.

  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.

  • Research current trends in textiles, color palettes, and patterns to inform design concepts.

  • Prepare digital mock-ups and technical files for production.

  • Revise designs based on feedback from team leads, clients, or stakeholders.

  • Maintain an organized library of design assets, swatches, and templates.

  • Contribute to the overall brand aesthetic and ensure all designs reflect FabricArt Studios’ signature style.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proven experience in textile or surface pattern design.

  • Strong proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW.

  • Understanding of textile production techniques, fabric types, and printing processes.

  • Excellent creativity and visual storytelling ability.

  • Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.




Experience



  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in textile or surface pattern design preferred.

  • Portfolio showcasing textile designs and previous projects is required.




Working Hours



  • Part-time remote role with flexible working hours.

  • Expected commitment: approximately 20–25 hours per week, with deadlines communicated per project.
