Job Summary


RhythmHive Studios is seeking passionate, talented, and energetic Remote Dance Instructors to join our growing online dance education platform. This part-time position allows instructors to teach diverse dance styles to students worldwide from the comfort of their own home. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in dance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skill levels.




Key Responsibilities



  • Conduct live online dance classes using virtual teaching platforms.

  • Develop structured lesson plans tailored to various skill levels.

  • Demonstrate and break down complex dance movements for clear student understanding.

  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage improvement.

  • Maintain a positive and engaging virtual classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with RhythmHive Studios team to create special workshops, performances, and events.

  • Stay updated on current dance trends and techniques to keep classes fresh and innovative.

  • Ensure all classes run smoothly by managing online tools, video, and audio quality.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Proficiency in one or more dance styles (e.g., contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, jazz, salsa).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Comfortable teaching and interacting in a virtual environment.

  • Ability to engage, motivate, and adapt teaching methods for students of varying ages and abilities.

  • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).




Experience



  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in dance (online or in-person preferred).

  • Experience in choreographing routines or performing professionally is a plus.

  • Previous experience with online class management or virtual instruction is highly desirable.




Working Hours



  • Part-time, flexible schedule based on student demand.

  • Ability to teach evenings or weekends may be required.

  • Hours can be coordinated with RhythmHive Studios’ administrative team.




Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Strong knowledge of dance techniques and physical conditioning.

  • Creative and innovative approach to teaching dance.

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple classes and student needs.

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback while maintaining a motivating environment.

  • Technologically adept and capable of troubleshooting basic virtual teaching issues.
