Job Summary
PathFinder Coaching is seeking passionate and experienced Remote Career Coaches to join our dynamic team of professionals dedicated to empowering individuals in achieving their career goals. As a Career Coach, you will provide personalized guidance, mentorship, and actionable strategies to clients navigating career transitions, skill development, and professional growth. This fully remote freelance position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ professional journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with clients via video, phone, or chat.
- Assess clients’ skills, experiences, and career aspirations to develop customized career action plans.
- Provide guidance on resume writing, cover letters, LinkedIn optimization, and interview preparation.
- Support clients in goal-setting, professional development, and career decision-making.
- Offer insights on job market trends, industry expectations, and skill requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of coaching sessions and client progress while respecting confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the PathFinder Coaching team to improve coaching frameworks and resources.
- Conduct workshops, webinars, and group coaching sessions when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in career coaching, mentoring, recruitment, or talent development.
- Strong knowledge of job market trends, career paths, and professional growth strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and provide constructive feedback to clients.
- Proficiency in virtual communication tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
- Familiarity with career assessment tools and platforms.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in career coaching, HR consulting, recruitment, or related roles.
- Experience working with diverse clients across industries and career levels is highly desirable.
- Freelance or remote coaching experience is a plus.
Working Hours
- Flexible hours; sessions can be scheduled based on client availability.
- Remote work allows for part-time or full-time engagement depending on availability.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends to accommodate client schedules.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt coaching methods to different client needs and industries.
- Empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence to guide clients through career challenges.
