Job Summary:
LearnSphere Solutions is seeking a talented and innovative Instructional Designer to join our remote team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize engaging online learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of our learners. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, multimedia specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure courses are pedagogically sound, interactive, and aligned with business objectives. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global team dedicated to transforming online education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design instructional materials, including e-learning modules, video lessons, and interactive content.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content requirements.
- Apply instructional design theories and best practices to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Conduct needs assessments and analyze learner performance data to improve course effectiveness.
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with learning goals.
- Incorporate multimedia elements such as graphics, animations, and quizzes to enhance learner engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in e-learning, instructional technologies, and adult learning principles.
- Provide recommendations for improving course design, learner experience, and overall program quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, etc.).
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.).
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and online course delivery platforms.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to design content for diverse learning styles and audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative learning solutions.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–4 years of instructional design experience, preferably in e-learning or remote education.
- Experience designing online courses, corporate training programs, or educational content is highly desirable.
Working Hours:
- Fully remote with flexible working hours.
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliverables independently while collaborating across time zones.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
- Proficiency with multimedia development tools and graphic design basics.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing learning needs and measuring course effectiveness.
