MedData Services is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Online Healthcare Data Entry Specialists to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining healthcare-related data in our systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain patient and healthcare data in electronic systems.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data from various sources.
  • Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Review documents and correct any discrepancies in records.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.
  • Generate basic reports and summaries as requested by supervisors.
  • Perform regular data quality checks to maintain system integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or inconsistencies in the data.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proficient typing skills with a minimum of 40-50 words per minute.
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality standards in healthcare.

Experience

  • Previous experience in data entry, medical billing, or healthcare administration is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience working remotely or with virtual teams is a plus.
