Job Summary
MedData Services is seeking meticulous and detail-oriented Online Healthcare Data Entry Specialists to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining healthcare-related data in our systems. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and maintain patient and healthcare data in electronic systems.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of data from various sources.
- Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Review documents and correct any discrepancies in records.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.
- Generate basic reports and summaries as requested by supervisors.
- Perform regular data quality checks to maintain system integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Proficient typing skills with a minimum of 40-50 words per minute.
- Strong computer literacy, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality standards in healthcare.
Experience
- Previous experience in data entry, medical billing, or healthcare administration is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working remotely or with virtual teams is a plus.
