Job Summary
AcademicBridge Research is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Online Research Assistant to join our dynamic remote team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about academic research, data analysis, and contributing to high-quality scholarly projects from the comfort of their home. The Research Assistant will support various research initiatives, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough literature reviews and compile summaries of relevant academic sources.
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing research data using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Prepare research reports, charts, and presentations for internal and client use.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and faculty members to support ongoing projects.
- Ensure proper documentation of sources, methodologies, and results.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive research information.
- Stay updated with the latest research trends and academic tools relevant to the field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Humanities, STEM disciplines).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with research databases, citation styles, and academic referencing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience
- Prior experience in academic research, data entry, or research assistance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in literature review, data collection, and basic statistical analysis is a plus.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote work schedule.
- Estimated 20–30 hours per week (part-time) with potential for full-time based on performance.
- Deadlines will be project-specific but communicated in advance.
