Job Summary
TuneUp Academy is seeking passionate and skilled Online Music Teachers to join our growing team of educators. In this role, you will conduct engaging virtual music lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels. Whether teaching instruments, vocals, or music theory, you will inspire learners to develop their musical abilities in a supportive, professional, and interactive online environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality virtual music lessons tailored to individual or group needs.
- Create lesson plans and teaching materials that support different learning styles and goals.
- Provide feedback and progress reports to students and/or parents.
- Utilize online platforms and tools to ensure smooth and engaging learning experiences.
- Prepare students for exams, performances, or personal music development.
- Maintain a positive, patient, and motivating teaching approach.
- Keep records of attendance, lesson schedules, and student progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in one or more instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, drums) or vocal training.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and practical application.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to teach students across different age groups and skill levels.
- Familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Education, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
Experience
- Prior experience teaching music (online or in-person) is highly desirable.
- Fresh graduates with strong musical expertise and passion for teaching are also encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
- Flexible scheduling options with part-time and full-time availability.
- Classes are conducted remotely, allowing teachers to manage their own teaching hours.
