Job Summary
SocialHive Digital is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our fully remote team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, engage with our community, and drive growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, and a passion for creating compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage SocialHive Digital’s social media strategy across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and emerging channels.
- Create, curate, and manage high-quality, engaging content that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to optimize performance.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and analysis of ROI.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the marketing, design, and content teams to maintain a consistent brand message.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and build online communities to strengthen customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities for growth, partnerships, and collaborations within the social media landscape.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, analytics, and advertising platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Creative mindset with an eye for design, photography, and video content.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or related roles.
- Experience with content creation, social media campaigns, and community management.
- Demonstrated ability to grow engagement, followers, and brand presence online.
Working Hours
- Full-time, remote position.
- Flexible working hours with the ability to attend virtual team meetings across different time zones.
- Expected to manage social media content scheduling, posting, and engagement in line with global audiences.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, SEO, and social media best practices.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics and create actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, remote team.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools is a plus (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Adaptable, proactive, and innovative in problem-solving and content strategy.
