Job Summary
FabricArt Studios is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Remote Textile Graphic Designer to join our innovative online team. The ideal candidate will combine artistic flair with technical expertise to design captivating textile patterns, prints, and digital illustrations for our diverse product range. This role requires a strong understanding of color theory, fabric textures, and market trends, while being comfortable working remotely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original textile designs, patterns, and prints for various fabric types and product lines.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to translate concepts into high-quality digital and print-ready files.
- Stay updated on industry trends, fabric innovations, and design techniques to ensure designs remain fresh and marketable.
- Modify and refine existing designs based on feedback from team leads or clients.
- Prepare technical specifications, including repeat patterns, colorways, and layout formats suitable for manufacturing.
- Maintain a consistent brand aesthetic across all design outputs.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for seasonal collections and product launches.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of textile patterns, color theory, and print techniques.
- Ability to conceptualize, sketch, and digitize designs effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in textile or surface design, fashion design, or related graphic design field.
- Experience in digital design for online platforms and print production preferred.
- Portfolio showcasing a variety of textile designs, patterns, and creative concepts.
Working Hours
- Flexible remote schedule.
