Job Summary
TestWave is seeking a highly motivated QA Automation Intern with a passion for software quality and automation testing. This role offers hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. The intern will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This position is ideal for students or fresh graduates looking to gain real-world experience in QA automation within a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand product functionality and define test scenarios.
- Identify, record, and document software defects and inconsistencies.
- Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution.
- Assist in analyzing test results and generating reports for stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test automation processes.
- Stay updated with emerging QA trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver and Java programming.
- Knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
- Basic understanding of version control tools like Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
- No prior professional experience required; internships or academic projects in QA automation are a plus.
- Exposure to real-world testing scenarios or automation projects is desirable.
Working Hours
- Flexible working hours with an expectation of 20–30 hours per week.
- Remote work options available; some overlap with the core team hours may be required.
