AppNest is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mobile Developer Intern specializing in iOS development with Swift to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in building innovative mobile applications, collaborating with senior developers, and contributing to real-world projects. This internship is designed to help you sharpen your technical skills, understand the full lifecycle of app development, and gain valuable industry exposure in a fast-growing tech environment.




Key Responsibilities



  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications using Swift.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and QA engineers.

  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for coding standards and version control (Git).

  • Debug and resolve issues in existing mobile applications to improve functionality and user experience.

  • Contribute to the development of prototypes, features, and enhancements for ongoing projects.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in iOS development and Swift programming.

  • Document technical processes and assist in preparing reports or presentations as needed.




Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Basic knowledge of Swift and iOS development principles.

  • Familiarity with Xcode, Interface Builder, and iOS SDK.

  • Understanding of MVC/MVVM architecture, RESTful APIs, and mobile app lifecycle.

  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Experience



  • No prior professional experience is required; this is an internship role open to students or fresh graduates.

  • Academic projects, personal projects, or contributions to open-source iOS apps will be considered a plus.




Working Hours



  • Flexible working hours, with an expectation of 20–25 hours per week.

  • Internship duration: 3–6 months, with potential for a full-time offer based on performance.
